About

Three Counties Osteopaths offers osteopathy and acupuncture in Worcester city centre, with appointments at County House on St Mary’s Street. The practice is led by Ian Elias, who has cared for patients across Worcestershire since 1985, supported by osteopath Jamie Bell. Together, they provide an unhurried approach to care, with time to discuss what has been troubling you and understand the assessment before treatment begins.

Every appointment starts with a conversation about your concerns, followed by an examination. Your osteopath listens to what is happening and explains their findings in plain English. Where appropriate, treatment can begin during the same appointment. Three Counties Osteopaths describes a warm, professional service in a calm and relaxed environment, helping patients understand their care as well as receive treatment.

Ian brings decades of osteopathic experience alongside training in acupuncture. He qualified from the British School of Osteopathy after completing a four-year full-time course, then undertook further training at the British College of Acupuncture between 1991 and 1993. A member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society, he offers acupuncture alongside osteopathic treatment where appropriate. This gives patients access to both approaches within the practice, depending on their individual care needs.

Jamie works with people of different ages and activity levels, including those recovering from sports injuries, experiencing persistent aches and pains, or hoping to move more comfortably. His approach looks beyond the painful area to explore what may be contributing to symptoms, with the aim of helping patients return to activities they enjoy.

Jamie combines hands-on treatment with tailored advice and rehabilitation, aiming to support longer-term recovery and reduce the likelihood of future problems. For someone seeking help with an injury or ongoing discomfort, this means his care includes practical support alongside treatment.

Originally from Worcester, Jamie completed a master’s degree in Osteopathy at Swansea University in 2022. He subsequently worked in Sydney, Australia, treating a broad range of patients and musculoskeletal conditions before returning to the UK. Both Ian and Jamie are registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

Consultations at the Worcester practice cost £60, with payment made after the appointment by card or cash and nothing to pay upfront.
