About
Mandy Redmond Osteopathy is base at The Natural Health Centre, Shrewsbury. Mandy graduated from the London School of Osteopathy in 2006 and has over 20 years of experience; she has worked in Shrewsbury since 2014 and sees patients from across Shropshire, the West Midlands and Wales.
Osteopathy was a second career for Mandy. She hurt her neck falling off her bike on the way to work, and the difference osteopathic treatment made inspired her to retrain. That experience as a patient may be part of why she puts such weight on clear explanations, calm treatment and practical advice, helping you understand exactly what is going on with your body.
Mandy works mainly with cranial osteopathy, a gentle approach that works with the natural tensions and rhythms in the body, and many patients find it deeply relaxing. Treatment uses gentle hands-on techniques and soft tissue work, with advice tailored to you. She treats people of all ages, from babies to older people, and commonly sees back pain and sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, hip and knee pain, tension headaches, arthritic discomfort and sports injuries.
When you get in touch, you speak to Mandy herself, and she will help you decide whether osteopathy is right for you before you book.
An initial consultation at Mandy Redmond Osteopathy lasts 1 hour 15 minutes and costs £70 for adults or £55 for under-18s, with 45-minute follow-ups at £58 and £45. Mandy is in clinic on Monday mornings and all day Thursday and Friday. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
